THE HIGHER WAY

While your letter is being prepared

Prepare your heart
to receive.

A prophetic word is not meant to create pressure, fear, or striving. It is an invitation to listen, pray, discern, and become more aware of the way God may already be moving in your life.

Begin preparing

Your foundation

Jesus is the center—not the letter.

Your prophetic letter is a tool for encouragement and reflection. It does not replace Scripture, wisdom, prayer, or your personal relationship with God. Everything you receive should lead you back to Jesus and reflect His nature.

“Test everything; hold fast what is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21

When your letter arrives

Read it slowly, not anxiously.

You do not need to understand or act upon everything immediately. Give the word room to settle, and notice what brings peace, loving conviction, clarity, or confirmation.

01

Read

Read the entire letter once without trying to analyze every sentence.

02

Notice

Mark the words or sections that stand out, bring peace, or connect with what God has already shown you.

03

Pray

Bring what you received back to Jesus. Ask Him for wisdom, clarity, and personal confirmation.

04

Practice

Use the activation gently. Take one faithful step instead of trying to force the whole word to happen.

A healthy prophetic word

Look for the character and fruit of Christ.

It encourages.Even correction should lead toward hope, freedom, and restoration—not condemnation.
It confirms. It may give language to something God has already been stirring within you.
It produces peace. It can stretch you, but it should not manipulate you through panic, urgency, or fear.
It points to Jesus. The word should strengthen your awareness of Him, not create dependence on another person.

Discernment is welcome

You are allowed to pray through it.

Receiving prophetically does not mean turning off wisdom. You can hold a word with open hands, ask God questions, seek wise counsel when appropriate, and allow confirmation to develop over time.

Save these for later

Journal with your letter.

01

What part of this word made me feel most seen or understood by God?

02

What has God already been showing me that this letter may be confirming?

03

Is there anything I need to release, rethink, or bring back to Jesus in prayer?

04

What is one simple activation or step I can carry into this season?

A prayer to prepare your heart

Jesus, help me receive through peace.

Quiet every anxious thought and remove the pressure to make anything happen. Give me wisdom to recognize what is from You, grace to release what is not for me, and courage to respond to truth in the right time. Let everything I receive draw me deeper into Your love, Your nature, and the freedom of Your finished work. Amen.

Remember this

Prophecy is an invitation, not a burden.

You are not responsible for forcing a promise into existence. Your responsibility is to remain close to Jesus, walk in wisdom, and respond faithfully to what He makes clear.

One final step

Choose how you want to continue growing.

On the final page, I will show you a few simple ways to remain spiritually supported after your letter arrives. There is no pressure to purchase anything else—your prophetic letter is already complete.
