Daily Devotional: The Game

The Game:
Mammon & Restitution

Jesus named the game: you can’t serve God and mammon. The level-up is settling who holds deity in your house.

Two Gods Named Money is the only other god Jesus ever named. It mimics God materially — that’s the fraud.
The Daily Question Will I give all deity unto money, or unto God? That’s the game, played every day.
Restitution in Jesus What was taken gets restored — not by playing harder, but by the One who settles the record.

Take a moment with today’s prayer, then continue into the devotional below.

How Are You Arriving Today?

Who’s been holding deity lately?

Choose what’s honest today.

Scripture of the Day

Matthew 6:24

“No man can serve two masters... Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Jesus named the game: God, or mammon. And in Jesus, there is restitution — Joel 2:25: “I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten.”

Today’s Devotional

The Game: Mammon and Restitution

You’re learning to play the game — and Jesus is the one who named it.

You can’t serve God and mammon. In Jesus, there is restitution.

You’re learning to play the game, and you’re learning to level up in the game. And Jesus — Jesus often referred to the game when He spoke of mammon and God: you can’t serve both.

We see this game inside our own lives every day. We’re in a position of asking: are we going to give all deity unto money, or are we going to give all deity unto God?

Because money can give what God can give — in a materialistic way. Provision. Security. Options. And that is exactly why it can be a fraud.

Think about it: money is the only other god Jesus ever proclaimed outside of His Father. The only one. Because it’s the only counterfeit that can imitate Him.

Money can mimic God materially — that’s what makes it a fraud.

But hear me: money doesn’t necessarily have to be an enemy. The level-up is not getting more money. The level-up is settling, once, who holds deity in your house.

Money makes a terrible god and an excellent servant. The moment it stops being served and starts being assigned, it stops being your master and becomes your tool.

And here is where Jesus lands it: in Him there is restitution. Restitution means what was taken gets restored — restored by the One it was taken from, with the record settled.

In Jesus, there is restitution.

Every year you served the fraud, every season money sat on a throne that was never its size — that account is not just forgiven in Jesus, it’s restored. You don’t climb out by playing harder. You receive restitution from the God who never needed your money to be God.

Mammon Says “Serve me and I’ll provide.”
God Says “I am your source — not the copy.”
The Fraud Says “Material is all there is.”
Jesus Says “Restitution. Years restored.”

When Money Has Been Too Loud

Bring Me the Money Situation

Money on the throne will run your whole house. Sometimes you need a room where it gets prayed through, not panicked over.

Dream Life Guidance Room

Bring me the actual situation — the money pressure, the season lack sat on the throne, the thing you’re believing money for that only God can settle. I’ll personally pray through what you share and help you see it with greater clarity, perspective, wisdom, and peace.

Bring My Situation Into the Guidance Room → The Guidance Room provides spiritual and reflective guidance. It is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, or a replacement for licensed professional help when needed.

Settle the Throne

Who holds deity in your house?

Sit with this one honestly. Write what is true, not what sounds spiritual.

Your reflections save privately on this device.

Seal This Moment

Lord, You hold deity in my house.

Lord, I settle it today: You are God in my house, not money.

Forgive me for every season I served the counterfeit.

Money, you are a servant — assigned, not adored.

I receive restitution in Jesus for the years that were taken.

Restore what lack called normal. Settle the record.

I lack nothing — my God is God, and the fraud is finished.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

One Level-Up Step

Assign money once today — don’t serve it.

One money decision today made as an assignment, not an act of service: give, save, or spend on purpose, without fear or worship. Write down what you assigned and how it felt different.

Completion Moment

You settled the throne today.

Carry this truth: money is your servant, not your god — and in Jesus, what was taken is restored.
