Isaiah 60:22
“The smallest one will become a thousand (a clan), and the least one a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will quicken it in its (appointed) time.”
The least gets the most — as you are ready. Not when you get bigger. Not when you get louder. As you are ready, in the time He appointed. And you are not waiting outside for that time. You’re in Him while it unfolds.
Today’s Devotional
You’re Not An Orphan Waiting To Get In
It’s about to manifest. Not because you finally got in — because you were never out.
I keep coming back to Isaiah 60:22. “The smallest one will become a thousand, and the least one a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will quicken it in its appointed time.”
We hear “appointed time” and we picture a waiting room. Sitting outside. Hoping our name gets called. Wondering if God forgot we were out here.
But here’s what God showed me about the appointed time: it means BE IN. You’re melded into the party of Jesus.
You’re not an orphan waiting to get in. An orphan knocks. A son, a daughter, belongs — already inside, already at the table.
Stop knocking on a door you’re already standing inside of.
And look at who He says this to: the smallest one. The least one. Not the biggest voice or the longest résumé — the least gets the most, as you are ready.
So what’s the actual problem? Delay. Stuck. Slowness. That’s the problem — not your size, not your position.
And the answer isn’t striving your way in. The answer is letting God’s quickening Spirit unfurl over you — the Spirit who has all wisdom, who knows the appointed time because He appointed it.
You don’t manifest it. You stay in Him — and He quickens it.
So today, stop living like an outsider in your own Father’s house. You’re in. You’re His. And what He planted in the smallest one is about to manifest — a thousand, a mighty nation, in its appointed time.
When You Can’t See How It Manifests From Here
Bring Me the Thing That Looks Too Small
Sometimes you don’t need a bigger platform — you need a word over the small thing, and eyes to see it the way God already does.
Bring me the actual situation — the small beginning, the stuck place, the thing that looks like the least. I’ll personally pray through what you share and help you look at it with greater clarity, perspective, wisdom, and peace.

Father, I’m already in.
Father, I hear Your word: the smallest one will become a thousand, and You will quicken it in its appointed time.
I release the orphan mindset — the knocking, the waiting outside, the wondering if I belong.
Thank You that I am melded into Jesus. I am in. I am Yours.
Where delay and stuck and slowness have named themselves my problem, let Your quickening Spirit move over me — You have all wisdom.
Make me ready for what the least gets: the most.
I will stay in You and watch it manifest.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
