He did not say, come to Me once you have it figured out. He said come — weary, carrying heavy things — and I will give you rest.

Rest Is Not Quitting
Jesus did not say, “Come to Me, all who have it figured out.” He said come to Me, all who are weary and carrying heavy things — and I will give you rest.
Somewhere along the way a lot of us learned to treat rest like a reward you earn after the work is done. But in God’s house, rest is not the finish line. It’s the starting place. You don’t rest because you’re done. You rest because you’re His.
Putting it down is not the same as walking away. You can set the thing in God’s hands for one day without quitting on what He called you to. The seed doesn’t strive underground. It just stays planted — and the ground does what striving never could.
Today, let rest be obedience. Not escape. Not laziness. Obedience.
The yoke He offers is easy and the burden is light — not because your life got smaller, but because you stopped carrying it alone.
When Waiting Feels Like Being Forgotten

Lord, I bring You the weight I’ve been calling faithfulness. Teach me to put it down without walking away, and to trust You with what I can’t hold overnight.
